How much does one hour of downtime cost your company?

Simple math: a company with 30 employees, each costing PLN 8,000 gross per month, loses about PLN 57 per employee for every hour of downtime. With 30 people, that's over PLN 1,700 per hour of idle time.

Three hours of server downtime once a month costs you as much as half of the Mini subscription. Except downtime isn't the only cost - add to that the wait for an IT person, the stress, delayed projects, and unhappy clients.

According to Deloitte research, a company with 50 employees needs an average of 2 to 4 IT specialists - to ensure continuity of support, cover vacations, and run projects simultaneously.
In the outsourcing model, you get the same result for a fraction of the cost.

Situations that cost more than you think

Each one carries a real cost - in money, time, and nerves. The worst part is that most companies treat them as the norm.

01

Your only IT person has gone on sick leave. What does your company do?

One IT specialist is a single point of failure. They get sick, take vacation, or quit overnight - and take passwords, infrastructure knowledge, and supplier contacts with them.

Dependence on a single person is a risk most owners only realize too late - on the day of the outage.

02

Your IT reacts to failures. Instead of preventing them.

Reactive IT is a model where you're always firefighting: something stops working, you call, you wait, you lose hours of work.

Monitoring, updates, backup verification - the things that prevent failures rarely happen when IT only runs reactively.

03

Passwords in one person's head. Documentation that doesn't exist.

Infrastructure that only the person who built it understands. When that person leaves, the knowledge of how your IT works leaves with them.

The company has no access to its own infrastructure, doesn't know the passwords to its own systems, and doesn't know where the backups are.

04

You hired someone new. A week has passed. Still no access to half the systems.

Setting up a laptop, an Active Directory account, M365, VPN, file server access, a mailbox, ERP permissions, Teams configuration - each of these is a separate ticket, a separate queue, a separate day of waiting.

The new employee sits and waits. You pay for their time. And you wonder why onboarding, which should take two hours, drags on for a week.

05

You were asked if customer data is secure. You said yes. But you don't actually know

A client signing a bigger contract asked for confirmation of your IT security policy. Your insurer asked about backup and recovery procedures when renewing your cyber policy. Your accountant asked if "we're ready for a GDPR audit." Every time, you said "yes" - because what else could you say.

But the truth is: you haven't checked the backup in months. You don't know where the logs are. And honestly, you're not sure of anything.

06

The server went down at 11:00. At 14:00 you're still waiting for a call back.

30 people can't work. You call, you message, you leave voicemails. A text saying "I'll be there in an hour" arrives two hours later.

Do the math: 30 people x 3 hours. Is "as soon as possible" a good enough standard for your company?

Zero Review

Environment audit

Before we take over your IT, we need to know what we're taking over. Every engagement starts with a Zero Review - a free initial audit after which you get a full map of your environment and a prioritized action list, so you're never exposed to unnecessary costs.

01

Infrastructure inventory

Servers, devices, licenses, accounts - a complete map of what you have

02

Map of permissions and passwords

Who has access to what, and why

03

Backup verification

Whether they actually work, and when they were last tested

04

List of risks and recommendations

What to fix first

05

Documentation

Ready-made material to hand over to any new specialist

In all these years, I've never met a client who had previously bought exactly what they actually needed. We only offer clients what they truly need - which is why our quotes are often half the price of the competition.

NIS2 in Poland

42,000 organizations covered by the new directive.

Manufacturing, digital services, waste management, and the food sector have joined energy and banking. The scale of this change is unprecedented.

Management is personally liable - financially, not just institutionally. It's not enough to say "we have safeguards in place." You need to prove that IT risk is managed in a documented and verifiable way.

An audit report is the simplest way to have that documentation ready - ready for an inspection, a conversation with your insurer, and questions from the board.

Solution

One subscription.
Three support tiers.

Engave Comprehensive IT Care isn't "an IT guy on call." It's a structured support model where every ticket reaches the right specialist at the right level - no queue, no surprises on the invoice.

Frequently asked questions

In other words, what you usually want to know before you make a decision

You get access to the entire Engave team - not just one person. L1 is the helpdesk: specialists handling everyday user issues (computer, printer, password, Teams). L2 is infrastructure engineers: they manage servers, networks, and monitoring. L3 is project experts: migrations, security, architecture. Depending on the request, it goes to the right level - you just have one phone number. How many people actually work on your infrastructure? As many as are currently needed - not as many as you have on payroll.

It doesn't conflict - quite the opposite. Engave acts as support for your IT department, not a replacement for it. Your IT person stops being a helpdesk and starts being an actual IT department. Access to Engave's L3 (penetration testing, migrations, DR Site) fills in the deep specialist expertise no single person can have.

We start with a Zero Review - a free initial audit that takes 1-2 weeks. We inventory the infrastructure, map permissions, verify backups, and create documentation. Only after that do we take over - we know exactly what we're taking on and have a plan for the first 30 days. The transition is smooth: your users get a new contact number and start using the helpdesk. For them, the change is barely noticeable - except that someone now answers the phone within an hour.

From signing the contract to full operational readiness: 2-3 weeks. Week 1-2: Zero Review and environment inventory. Week 3: setting up monitoring systems, the ticketing system, and onboarding your team. From the end of week 3: your users have a working helpdesk, our engineers know your infrastructure inside out, and you have full documentation of your IT environment.

Work beyond the scope of your package is billed at PLN 350 per labor hour, in 30-minute increments (not by the hour). You know the rate up front. On-site visits have set minimum durations: Warsaw - 2 hours minimum, up to 100 km - 6 hours minimum, over 100 km - 8 hours minimum. Every service beyond the package is logged in the ticketing system and appears in your monthly report with a description of the work performed. No surprises on the invoice.

Standard Comprehensive IT Care contracts run for 12 months (6 months minimum) - this gives us time to properly get to know your environment and deliver real value, not just "be there." That's why we offer the first month free when you sign - so you can see it in practice, not just take our word for it. Upgrading your package (as your company grows) is possible at any time without renegotiating the full contract. We discuss termination terms individually - we're flexible, because we care about long-term relationships, not about locking clients into a contract.

Yes. We provide remote support across all of Poland, regardless of location. On-site visits (when an engineer's physical presence is required) are available, with set minimum durations depending on distance. In practice, the vast majority of everyday IT matters (helpdesk, monitoring, remote administration) don't require physical presence - and are handled remotely just as effectively. For companies in regions where on-site visits are rarely needed, the remote model works very well.

Let's talk
about IT in your company

You don't need to be a server expert to make a good IT decision. Just tell us how many people work at your company and what's bothering you most - and we'll show you how to solve it.
